About

Thirty years of moving people, twenty of them in Northamptonshire.

I started out in estate agency in North West London in 1995 — learning the trade the old-fashioned way, on the doorstep, in front rooms, and around kitchen tables. It was a slower, more personal way of working, and it stuck with me.

In 2004 I moved my life and my work into Northamptonshire, and spent the next two decades becoming one of the county's most familiar faces in village and market-town property. In 2020 my family and I settled in Brixworth, and I've been quietly falling for the community ever since.

What I love most is the buildings themselves — the honey-coloured stone cottages, the barn conversions, the Georgian townhouses behind wrought-iron railings — and the stories of the people who have lived in them. My job is to make sure the next chapter is a good one.

I work single-handedly, deliberately. That means when you call, you get me. When there's a viewing, I take it. When a buyer hesitates, I'm the one on the phone. It's slower than a chain, and I think that's the point.

Portrait of Iain Welters

"Brixworth is one of those villages that gets under your skin — the church, the country park, the neighbours who wave. I feel lucky to sell homes in a place I care about this much."
